Grossmont Summit
The Grossmont Summit produced 47 stories this spring, up from fall semesters, but down about 25 percent from last spring. It averaged 3.9 stories per week over 12 weeks while posting 16.7 percent of possible days.
News was most prominent (44.7 percent) and most other stories were split evenly between sports (23.4 percent) and features (29.8 percent). It had only one opinion story all semester.
Distinctive with the Summit was its label-style headlines, such as “District Diversity” and “Pride-full;” it is the only publication in the state that consistently used this style headline.
Half its stories were posted on Wednesdays (51.1 percent) and two-third (62.8 percent) were posted in the afternoon.
It drew 8.3k visitors per month.
