Chabot (Spring 2023)

Chabot Spectator

The Chabot Spectator published 40 stories, but the big news was that this was more than double any semester output since Spring 2020. Nearly two-thirds (65.0%) were news stories and nearly two-thirds (67.5 percent) were campus based. One in five (20.0 percent) were community based, which was the ninth highest community-based ranking. It was fourth highest in the state in campus-based news stories.

It had just one campus sports story, but had three campus governance stories.

Monday and Wednesday were its most popular posting days (32.5 percent each for nearly two-thirds of all stories) and split its time-of-day postings in the afternoon (42.5 percent) and mornings (40.0 percent). It posted just 16.5 percent of possible days, or an average of just over once a week.

And it drew 11.7k visitors each month.
